1420 hp civic
 

i was reading this magazine, and i saw a story about a drag civic that's got 1,420 hp... i was like "impossible..." so i read it, and it turns out they took an NSX engine, rebuilt it, and threw it in the civic, so now it's a RWD, V-6, 1420 hp civic. aem built it. just thought i'd share...

not exactly, because it's not street legal... there are drag cars faster than that... haha... so not ANY car... :D

ok any vehicle that doesn't have a jet engine strapped under the chassis lol.

At that point it's not really a civic, is it? At some point it seems easier to put civic-shaped fiberglass on a generic drag body.

me neither...that's like taking a plane body/chassis/engine etc and throwing a civic body over top of it all then claiming that you seen a flying Honda Civic..

Yeah I can't wait to see steph run that thing in person..I have seen a coupl eof passes w/ that thing and it ROCKS down the 1320.....

I'm not in to motor swaps.. why not just buy the car the motor comes with.. like how some swap an RSX-S motor with a 03 Civic Si... that's dumb... that's no tuning, that's cheating... DAMN THOSE CHEATERS!!!

why would you do that anyway, i'd rather take the rsx...

You think there's no tuning envolved in an engine swap?

What kind of "tuning" do you do when you BOLT ON parts...

and...

because a civic body weighs LESS than an acura and imo integra's are illpoopies. I'd take a swap over my 1.6 sohc built to the hilt anyday... after you swap you still can hop up the new motor and get MUCH more power in the longrun...

oh and more ontopic...

I think I may be getting a 3.2 vtec motor for next to nothing soon... GOD I wich I had the money to put it in something.
