d16z6 swap
 

i have a 91 crx hf. this weekend i swapped in a d16z6 and i cant get is started. i ahev no power to my ecu. i have tried everything and i dont know what the cause. i have tried 3 different ecus, a pm6, pm7, and pm8 and none of them would turn on. the check engine light doesnt turn on when i turn the key and the light doesnt blink on the ecu. i need all the help i can get to get this thing started. thanks in advance

hondas come from the factory with an anti theft device the keys have a code on them. if you swaped out the ecu the code is diffrent from the one on your key. if you call honda and can prove to them to there satisfaction that the engine and swaped parts are not stolen they will give you temp code that will allow the car to be started for 24 hours. untill you can get the car to the dealer ship and once at the dealer ship they will reprog the ecu to start with your keys code.

I've never heard of that before....but hey...if it's true......
is yoru battery hooked up...;)

not on a 91 hf. try checking the ecu ground on the thermostat housing.
