b18c or b16a???
yeah i have a 95 honda civic ex and i am thinking bout a engine swap. not sure if the b18c will make my handling go to crap or what. at least if i get the b16a i dont think i would have to do any suspension mods, or would i?? i all ready have eibach sportline springs.

I've never heard anyone complaining after they did a b18c swap.
it's got WAY more torque and it's not that much heavier as far as I know... I wouldn't go b16 they have NO torque... the 1.8's are lacking in torque much less the 1.6's. |

yea, get the b18c, and bore that biznatch to hell....well not that much, jsut to a 2 liter. Hmmm...that sparks a post idea... |
def GO WITH THE B18C. But which B18C u gonna get?
B18C-JDM B18C1-USDM/GSR B18C-5-ITR correct me if im wrong on any of those please i got them from this Forum ;) |

B18C1 i assume... |
b18c is a good motor...but i do like the "torque-less wonder" b16 too
and i dont think you can bore the 1.8 gsr to 2.0L...1.98 yes for sure;) |
no difference is there
Chevy calls a 305 cu inch engine a 5.0 FORD calls 302 cu inch engine 5.0 i dont think that .02L will make THAT much of a difference |
no not really but im not exactly sure it can even go as far as 1.98
and actually i think the b18 isnt 1.8l...its something like 1.78 so im just being an ass (yes, I'm allowed to do that from time to time ;) ) |
what would the price differences be between a b18c1 and a b16a?? and would i need new front end springs if i got the b18
|
b18c1 is around $1-1500 more
