fly-by's?
what is this exactly?
i've heard different explanations on them... |
clueless.....fly-by's as....in?
when someone thinks you are racing them(usually after they have already lost) they go FLYING by you to make it seem like they have some wicked top end(after you've already started braking) that way they can save a lil face and say they "caught you".
that is usually followed by a flashing of the hazards. jeremy |
It is when you race someone, they are ahead and start to slow down, and you keep going past them really fast to act as though you beat them.
understood...
so what the kid in my school who drives a saturn did after beating him... |
Aaahhhh.....the good ole "ricer fly-by"......:rolleyes:
heheheh...cool I didn't know that that phenomenon had been given a name. I've just been calling it;
"tryingtoretaliatecauseyoujustgotyourasshandedtoyou " disease. wow, I think I made up a new word :D |
and a freaking long one :yes:
people do that all the time around here, either that or when you ask if they wanna race, they get half a car length ahead of you and then go. wtf is the point?
thats exactly what i thought you were referring to but didn't know if you meant airplanes lol
my one friend owned a Steeda mustang... we were out at the streetraces... this was about 2 years ago (GOOD TIMES) next thing we hear him comming down.... every one takes a step back.... next thing you know he is about to redline 3rd gear... we all take another step back.... he is about to peak out 4th.... this time we all stop off the road... does a 140 MPH fly by just for the hell of it..... he was flying.
Fly By...In that movie Top Gun where Maverick flew really close to that tower and the guy spilled coffee all over himself. Sorry, but that was the only definition that I knew of fly by.
well, you could be refering to an airplane if the ricer in question has a large enough wing bolted to his trunk...
