i guess it's time to part with my car
 

i had a lot of problems lately with my car and i will need to get rid of it. i can't afford a brand new one right now because of the money problems, but i decided to go with a 98 or newer accord ( i just love the accords). also i have lots of mods to the car and i spent about $1700 on suspension alone. i really don't know what to do about the mods on the car take them off and ebay them or just sell the car with them. i know i won't be getting back my mods money but this is a time where i should just let the car go. if anyone here is interested about mods on my car or the entire car you can pm me or email me.

You getting a sedan or a coupe again? btw, good decision to buy a newer accord, those are sexy cars! :yes:

part it out... EVERYTHING... not just mod parts... ebay EVERY SINGLE PART on your car you will make WAY more money then if you sold it whole... could go wrong and it's definately a pain getting rid of the shell but... You'll get next to nothing for a car you're getting rid of because of how un-reliable it is.

well the car is worth 4k at bluebook price. what else could i ebay ? the engine has 146k miles on it. so none of that will go on ebay.

ya I was thinking EVERYTHING... like completely part it out.. but if it's got a 4k blue book I'd use it to trade in on something.. If they won't give you more than you can get for it then sell it and buy what you want...

If you can I'd try to slap the stock stuff back on and sell the susp. etc on ebay.

Please tell me you're getting a 98+ V6 and plan on somehow gettig a manual tranny put into it. The 4-banger is weak.....weeeeeeeeeak. I want DOHC and a friggin blower. ;(

Yeah it's too bad they don't have stick with the 6's, but I hear they already came out or are coming out in the newer version. But this punk here doesn't drive stick, he drives his automagic crap as he calls it. So from what I understand, he's getting a automagic piece of crap again ;) :D lol

who are you calling punk ? punk ;) and yes i drive stick. i drove stick for 3 years before the honduh and some more without a license back in romania. auto is just a lot more convenient:yes:

If you try to sell it the way it is, you will probably get LOWER than blue book. People dont like to buy modified cars. Sell your aftermarket parts on ebay, put on all the stock parts, and trade it in.

put the stock back on and ebay everything else

Sell all the parts that are good and have a scrape yard take away the rest . They usually do that for free;)

You DO realize the accords are heavier than every other model, thus makin it difficult to make them fast right?:confused:
