This dude works in Alaska as forest ranger or something of that sort.. One day when he was out hunting, a giant grizzly came charging at him, so the dude discharged a full load of 7mm Mag semi-auto. The bear was still alive, so he reloaded and shot it in the head, which ultimately killed it.

The bear was 1600lbs, 12’6”.. It’s the biggest known bear..

The guy couldn’t keep the bear, since its last meal was a human..

That guy is in the military, there was a story done about him in some AF magazine thing and there wasnt anything about the bear having ate someone. So part of this was made up.

Holy shite......i remember hearing about that story but, i never saw the pics.

Why run in zig zags if a bear is charging. When someone is shooting I guess I understand that. But why bears?

I read the zig-zag thing somewhere. I think it's because they're all big and not as coordinated as us.
