NX 2000 Problems..

Well my freind has a 92 NX 2000....and hes been trying to get his engine working properly for such a long time....then it was the tranny....then last night....we put the tranny back in..(whole story is to long...tranny was leaking basically) after it was fixed...go out to test her....says it feels Ok but the clutch wasnt engaging right....so he tried to fix that...then all of a sudden when were parked for like..5 mintues ..he screams turn off the car i do look up smoke everywhere from the rad...the rad fluid is bubble in little bottle....WAs it EVer hot...anyway....he find out his fan wont kick in.....so he had to 'jump' it after that....ride home to problems...cept he leaked SO much red fluid in that parking lot....anyway i was wondering ...what would make the fan to NOT kick in like that....fuse???hes been having overheating problems ever since he put the engine back in from being powder coated and a PnP and other stuff....everything else is fine...he even had a shop hook it to a computer...they couldnt find anything else wrong cept maybe putting in a second fan was there suggestion...anyone know y this fan wont kick in? any other methods keeping this engine cooler?

so isn't it better to just go to a dealer and have them fix it?
