ghetto turbo!!! hahaha

hahaha i was thinkin.(wooow that doesnt happen much) but anyway... if you take a electric leaf-blower (stay with me!) and a 12 t0 120 converter, so the blower could run... and a piece of duct pipe from kmart, to run the blown air into the motor. then run it thu a switch so you could use it when u wanted to... and you have a turbo! now how is that for some ghetto enginering??? i am going to do this with my lude.. just to see what happens... if the car is still in one piece when i am done i will poste some picks..

hahahahahahahaha so wait are you going to just strap a tube or something onto your air filter and pump the air into that?

It's been done and you won't gain any HP. The leave blower, if fast enough, may help on your low-end, but won't spin nearly fast enough at higher speeds and your performance will suffer...

i don't think i would've ever had the time to come up with that scenario...but it does make sense a bit...

pdiggitydogg 05-12-2003 09:15 PM

ebpda9 05-12-2003 09:30 PM

that will work till you hit 300orpms then the blower will get sucked into your engine ;)

pimpinprelude 05-13-2003 03:23 PM
