graduation present ideas

ok guys i need help. i dont know what to get my gf for her college graduation. please help. thanks in advance

ShagginJet 05-12-2003 11:36 AM

How about a good 8"s of white boy. You can check my bio for contact info...

Ummm, you should get her something that shows you care. Take her out that night, or on the weekend. Treat her to a nice dinner, maybe have a drink, maybe a movie or a nice stroll through a romantic place, take her back to your pad (or hers), pop a viagra, and give it to her like you never knew you could.... ;)

sc0rch 05-12-2003 12:15 PM

give her $10,000 ;)

zm_dawg 05-12-2003 12:55 PM

whats your gf like.....does she like watching WWE or slow walks down the beach during the sunset?

ShEaNy 05-12-2003 12:58 PM

jewerally? some cash? hotel? lol:cool:

DumbMoFo 05-12-2003 01:03 PM

Take her somewhere. Florida? Hilton Head?

Whiteclipse99 05-12-2003 01:53 PM

I really don't have any good ideas, but I'll tell you what I'm doing for my best friend's graduation (you guys know her as Denise, D or DsBlu01CivEX). Two of our other friends and I taking her to the beach. It doesn't sound like much and it's really benefiting all of us because we all want to go, but we're paying for her share of the room and probably lots and lots of drinks.

But I agree with the above ideas...you should take her somewhere or plan something special. Buying her something is nice, but sometimes it shows more and means more if it's something you can do together.

i dunno, it depends on what she likes and all that

ebpda9 05-12-2003 02:44 PM

it all depends on what she is like and how deep your pockets are. i think a nice bouquet of flowers an a dinner can't go wrong.

CD5Passion 05-12-2003 04:27 PM

haha i still say 350z is a sure fire, who's gonna get me one next year when I graduate highschool?

Jufranpnoy 05-12-2003 10:34 PM

thanks for the idea guys. the getaway idea is what i was leaning towards originally but wanted something material-wise to give her. a nice romantic night out(dinner, flowers and whatnot) were gonna be done anyways. just have to pick the restaurant. i appreciate your guys help though, being together for 5 and a half years and knowing each other since we were little kids, i start to run out of ideas. hehehe

mylittlecivic 05-12-2003 10:39 PM

yeah it would be nice to take her out spend some time, and money on her;)

I graduated last week im having a party saturday!!!!!

pdiggitydogg 05-12-2003 10:44 PM

i think the key is...how much do you want to spend?

juf.......an idea here.....nice picture frame engraved , and then teh day of teh ceremony take a pic of her go to a 1 hour photo place get it developed and blown up and put it in teh frame and give it to her at dinner. she should love it since you put so much effort into it.

silver 05-13-2003 01:10 AM

you've been together for over 5 years?

give her the gift man...the ultimate gift.

"will you marry me?"

but only if you're ready of course.

silver 05-13-2003 01:11 AM

Jufranpnoy 05-13-2003 06:55 AM

I'm sticking with my first reply

ohiochica 05-13-2003 10:39 AM

your welcome, i am a huge sentimental person and the best gift got was my graduation charm and all my pictures of that day. when you loose someone you appreciate the pictures most.

mt.biker 05-13-2003 02:12 PM

its all about the memories bro and I think thats what becky is getting at. Try to capture the memories of the moment, a neckless will lose its meaning over time but memories last a life time.

Why dont the two of you try something new together, sit down and list of a few things the two of you would like to do together. (dont tell her its for her grad gift of course)

might be something like:
learn to snowboard
sky dive
goto Paris

Then figure out which one you can afford and tick one off the list. In your shoes I would pop the question, but if you aint ready you aint ready.

let us know how it all goes and what you ended up doing.

Wren57 05-14-2003 02:17 AM

haha screw you guys

seriously, Id get her something she wants. find a hobby of hers, find something it requires that she doesn't have, and get it for her. Its a guaranteed winner.
