So firstgeardude and I are driving to get to 400/7 Saturday night and on the way up there we see a audi TT cutting through traffic. Its screaming in 1st and 2nd so we close the distance to see a female driver, blonde hair with 3 kids in the car. We pace her for a bit, get a head, fall back.. all that good stuff.

Robert (firstgeardude) is driving of course and I'm waving at the kids, who are waving back and appear not to have seat belts on. Well we get onto the highway and we're off... I mean off.

Pedal to the medal engine's screaming and she starts to fall back at around 85mph. But she hasn't backed down, at about 100mph she starts to fall further back. When we hit just 120mph all we saw were her lights.

I can honestly say we smoked her, and then later that night we launched with a celica GT-S but back down to save a few lives.

what are they rated .. to around 200 hp?

she was nuts for drivin like that with her kids tho..... she was really aggressive as she was literally on my ass when i was drivin normally......

Well usually I don't care about people street racing and stuff, but when you knew there were kids in the car, seatbelts or not, you should have backed down.

well it wasnt much of a race.... she backed off on the highway i think

but whether i would have decided to drive fast or not would not have changed the way she was driving....

dude...... once yall saw the chitlens in tha car you should have backed off.. i dont see a problem with streetracing, but in this case i do..:|

Maybe, she was looking to get up to speed -85- fast and then cruise at that............I know I drive fast, sometimes I want to get to my speed quick and hang on to it, no wasting time. Maybe I'm wrong also, just my opinion.

maybe she was an idiot? for not buckling them up...driving fast..etc....prolly wasnt even racing..just stupid driving...

geez, considering that neither robert nor I drive "normal" by any standards when he says normal its how he drives. I'd say it was a race, but hell you all are right.. considering you weren't there I guess you all know it better then I do.

what the hell is wrong w/ her?? she has 3 UNBUCKLED kids in the car and she's drivin that fast....

Sorry man, I just have a hard time seeing a mother driving an Audi with three kids in the car street racing. It just doesnt make much sense to me, but hey.. I guess anythings possible. To add to that, you said she was driving aggressively before you caught up to her.. Again, all I see is agressive driving.. Not a street race.

well the limit is 55mph on the highway and when she stays with us up to 85ish its hard not to think we're racing...

Understandable.. But I get passed by people all the time on the way home doing 60 miles an hour. I pace them at about 75 or 80 after that, Im not racing.. I just let them lead so they are first on the radar. You guys may have felt like it was a race, I doubt she had racing in her mind though. I think she was just a phscyo woman driver.. :o But anythings possible.
