Installed new Shocks: Question
Hey guys just installed my Tokico Illuminas this weekend, and the car rides great! no more up and down movement of the left/front tire and feels faster actually cause the tires are actually making contact on the road. hehe
just one question, adjusting the firmness of the shocks... how do most of you guys have yours? i live in a town with terrible roads and ive got the rears at 5 and the fronts at 4 and its still gets a good hard bounce everyso often, should i turn them town to say 3 or 2? or is it better if you live in a town with bad roads to keep them up towards 4 or 5? thanks Chris |
I rode my illuminas at 3's...didnt notice that much of a difference from 2...or 1 for that matter.
I liked em firmer when I was on smoother roads and when I knew I was gonna be on rough terrain I would soften em just a bit...maybe 1/2 a number |
I usually run my Tokico's at 3 for daily driving, then step them up to 4 or 5 for autocross.
