Don't you think these mock-MLM type schemes are a little bit on the "scammy" side? I know that they get around the legality issues by making you buy something small and getting your name on a list to supposedly receive free stuff.

Just so you know PoleMan, the actual site looks really nice, I was just talking about the concepts.
