effectivness?

Tell me what this effectivness is mean?

Duckydos 04-27-2003 12:19 AM

www.dictionary.com

It means it's ability to do something. If something is "effective", it does the job well. The amount of "effective" is called effectiveness.

It helps to spell the word correctly when using dictionary.com.

What is the title of this thread?

It's "effectiveness."

spoogenet 04-30-2003 08:08 AM

One could say Dictionary.com is more effective when the words are spelled correctly. Spelling words correctly allows you to increase the site's effectiveness. :)

Paul, what's your native language and how long have you been speaking/writing English?
