Steering Whell Pull and Shake(Shimmy)

Hey everyone I got a question. I have gotten my car aligned and all the tires balanced and when I got over 50 mph the steering wheel starts to shake(shimmy) and it also pulls with every bump in the road. I am not so much worried about the pull because the low profile tires more than likely cause that but what about the shake? Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution. I read in a previous post the low profile Kuhmos have done this to others and this is the tire I have now. Is it really the tire or is there another cause to this. Any help to stop this would be great. Thanks

Does it pull when you brake. If so it could be the brake calipers cause my car did that as well. If not when you brake, maybe the control arm is damaged.

Make sure your rims arent bent, couple of mine are (****ing road work, state wont pay for it either) and my wheel shakes at high speeds...

I do have the print out from the alignment shop. What sort of info are you looking for on it? I can type in anything you need. I just want to figure out why my wheel shakes at higher speeds.

your tires are statically balanced...you need to have the wheels dynamically balanced with stick on weights on the inside edge of the wheel.

on hondas the wheels shouldn't be balanced off the car. but i would like to see the caster and camber angles and the toe for the front (before and after).

it realy doesn;t matter with the balancing, it's cutting rotors and such were they shouldn't be done off the car. Whele balancing honda is not strict on, cutting rotors they are :)

Could be warped rotors too...might need to be turned, or it could be a good excuse to get some slotted or cross-drilled ones.

It shouldn't be the rotors during normal driving, only during braking. The only real way you'd feel a warped rotor at 50 would be if it were rubbing the pads and slowing the wheel slighly. I've never seen a rotor warped enough that you'd feel the vibration from it's balance, or lack thereof.....but I could be wrong.
