I was just wondering that i have heard some people race for their titles how could u risk that much i mean u have a lot of money invested in ur car so how could u unless u know ur going to win just wondering thanx

I think that's a really, really stupid thing to do. If they want to race for money, that's one thing, but possibly losing your car is dumb.

i wouldn't put the pinkslip down for just a race.

werd, i have never seen someone race for slips, but there have been plenty of claims which always turn out to be bs.

Anyone who would even be dumb enough to consider racing for pinks would have to have a brain the size of ant balls. :D

I think he was joking. Most of the time people quote the movie to mock it. Personally I was offered a race for slips once against a 1994 dodge stealth non-turbo... I laughed at the dumbass and told him no but I would race for fun and we did... and I won... hah oh well, he was probably packing nitrous that went unused in the free race...

My father used to race for pink slips back in the 70s when he owned his '69 Camero... and some of the Peurto Ricans will race for pink slips around here, but those are just POS rotary RX-7s that barely run.

ill run for pink slips just to get rid of my peice and make a claim on insurance saying it was stolen

I've seen it done a couple of times.. Not sure if he actually gave up the car or not..

People that have too much pride and want to show to the world that there is no limit to what they can do.. When in reality, its more that likely that there is someone neaby that can wipe you off the face of this earth.

Pink Slips are stupid, i wouldnt even bet the Pink Slip to a Razor scooter on a race.

Mine's white with some green tinting! :D

i would only race for pink slips if i had the $ and ability to put a 454 in a Metro.....i think i'd shit my pants 1st time i stomped it
