Your best bet would probly be to hit up a junk yard
that picture reminds me of a video game like the games u sit in at an arcade...dunno why
as pdig knows there is not anything at the junkyards round here
^exactly...closest one I know of (thats worth anything) is in Holland...still 100miles from me
thats quite a long ways away from me to
try searching the online junkyard site...car-part.com i think.
what youre showing is a custom job, prolly pretty pricey if you dont have the tools and knowhow. You can still fix youre old vents if you are patient. just remove them carefully, if you break them just use some epoxy or jb weld. Remove all of the louvers, again carefully, I used real tiny jewelers screwdrivers (cheap ones), and soak everything in warm water. I used a biger screwdriver and my fingers to work the old paint off. From there you can paint again or just reinstall them. |
it is a pain to paint them i tried removing the paint but i didnt try warm water thanks for the tip its just the little vents that look crappy the other two look pretty good
let me guess:
you used walmart paint (krylon or something) you sprayed when it was too humid you sprayed when it was too hot you sprayed when it was too cold you didn't let it sit for a day its always a combo of those that screw up a paint job. I speak from experience! |
even worse i ran out of paint for my middle vents so they looked good till the last coat that spuddered and f'ed them all up
