Quarter mile times....
I saw a 98' Civic HX with intake, headers, exhaust, and suspension, that ran a 15.7 in the quarter mile...does that sound accurate?

Hmm, ok |

Seconded. Doesn't sound quite right to me either. |
I mean I don't mean to be brief about it but... a ex or si with those mods would run those times with a GOOD driver... the hx is as slow as a honda comes...
theres more to the story than ihe if those are his times... I could be wrong but that doesn't look right at all to me. (I"m not much of a 1/4 mile guy though) |
sure it wasn't an 1/8th mi.?

That'd be a tad bit too slow. He could have had more done that opak didn't see... |

lmao It's great when we clown on other hondas. :D |
nope, he listed all his mods...he didnt' say an much more, or anythign like that.
|
Maybe he had weight reduction? Maybe it was a stripped HX? That or he had one of those tornado air filter things and wanted to keep it a secret. :bandit:

my car might run that in the 1/8 mile :D
|
erm...lol, is it stock?...heh
|
yeah, stock and slow
|

slower than a dx? are dx's really that slow? |
i ran 15.9 stock, the toy i just recently finsihed putting together for a friend ran 12.1 @ 114 last weekend :) but that one makes a significant amount of HP.
that civic prolly had a 60 or75 shot of nitrous to pull down those times. jeremy |
