Springs or Coilovers
I need to raise up my Lude a few mm's. It is seriously affecting my ride quality. Now the question is, What is better lowering springs or coilovers?
|
If you want to better your ride quality, get good struts. What struts are you using now?

I think the are Mcpherson or something...The thing is my springs were shrunken with a huge 10ton press...about 2 years ago. Now they are showing the wer and tear...I hear them sqeaking and poppin all the time...I don't think its the struts but what do I know...What do you think it is? |
Well, struts can squeak, but its hard to say without actually hearing it. I think you should replace your struts with performance oriented struts. Get some nice Koni yellows or something and you'll be much happier with the ride. Sounds like you might need new springs too though :o

how much of a drop do u have ?
|
your sturts could be blown, i'd get KYB adjustable shocks, and then either eibach lower spings (either one depending on how much of a drop you want) or ground control coilovers

well i'm not to familiar with the ludes so i don't know how low you went. i'd say a nice set of konis would be perfect. |
Struts
I bought Koni Yellows -- one word: Unbelivable. I wanted to lower my car to improve handling but i really don't need to now with these struts -- they kick serious ass. Pretty expensive but definitely worth the money.
