Im thinking about getting my initials tattooed on my shoulder.. My initials are JAM does anyone know of any fonts that would make a kickass tattoo?:confused:

That's cool. When you go for tribal though, seriously...see if the tattoo artist can draw something up for you. Don't pick off of the wall. I have a dragon but obviously that is something that a lot of people have. I ended up drawing mine.

Yeah, I have a couple friends that are mad crazy artists.. Not to mention tattooed freaks.. lol.. Ill probably talk to them.:yes:

That's cool :yes: I drew one for this girl I went to high school with and I drew this one for my best friend just recently. At least that way you know that there is no one else that has that on them.

Old English with tribal would be looking the best. I have several tribal bands, one with my first initial, one across my lower back and also a tribal wolf (shocking). I really like the endorphine rush!! ;)

The only thing I dont like about OE.. Is the fact that its really common.. I want something different.

You could do Old E in a color instead of black.......

True.. At this point Im still unsure if I want to do a tribal design around the initials.. Depending on the font, and how I like it I may just do the initials.. Youll see what I mean when I finish weeding through these.. I have photoshoped some tattoos (computer geek tattoo-ing).... ;)

You'd be better off making it more of a design with the letters more obscured... like a negative/postive space thing..

With initials like "J A M" I wouldn't want it readable like it was the word "jam" on my arm. just my .02

that way people don't assume you have JAM writin on your arm and it'll add a dimension to the tatoo because people say.. "cool design" and then you can point out how it's your initials...

So why your initials??? scared you'll forget? jfwy

Another thought would be just using your first initial "J" instead.......I've got my "J" done in tribal with a tribal band around my ankle like an anklet. She really made the "J" look wicked. Much better and different than the commonly used OE. Really though, what you go with is really up to you hun.....be creative.

Ive been sitting here all day designing funky, tribal style tattoos.. I have a couple that look really cool.

Im not sure why my initials.. Its just who I am.. Not only that but thats what everyone calls me anyhow.. I dunno.. :o

I like that! Tattoos on guys right there is pretty hot. I wouldn't mind getting something there too but that is not too feminine. I've thought about it but no. Guys can pull that off.

I was actually thinking about the same thing...kinda...except i was just gonna do K on my left shoulder and J on my right...with tribal around the letters and some tribal accross my back connecting them...
and i'm also gonna get a barcode with 6660000666 on the bottom side of my wrist.
