Msd Or Crane???
 

ok guys, I can't seem to make up my mind. Do I want the msd 6al with blaster coil or Crane Hi 6s with their lx91-coil. I can get an msd 6al off of ebay for about $100-140 and the blaster coil for about $30, Summit racing has the crane hi-6s for $139.99 and are offering free coil. Which one should I get? I am going to buy a whole ignition setup in a couple of weeks, does anyone else here have an ignition system?

well i have the msd 6a but still needs to be installed. i'd go with msd

I've installed alot of msd ignitions and i know they're good. And a bud of mine had the crane setup and he loved it.....As for which one to get.....i guess it's a matter of preference. If that helped you out any.:crazy: :)

Back in the day, Jacobs was the prime selection.. but MSD got so big.. Long story short, Jacobs died.. :no:

i'm thinking that I want the crane-the shop that I goto swears by them also the crane is plug and play as the msd you have to do some wiring. I think I will buy the crane because the coil is free right now with purchase of ignition. Also the crane is more of an ignition control unit and the msd is just a spark amplifier mostly.
