yup.... pull up the e-brake....... back end came around....... steered INTO the turn...... slid stright into the curb. totally fuxed up the back. we dont know if its just the control arms or the axle  matt, my brother, asked me if i was ok... i said ya... but your rim is ****ed up... he got out and started yelling and bleep bleep bleep :censored: :censored: grabs the camera, took a pic, bleep bleep :censored: :censored: bleep. he was pissed... this just happened about 3 hours ago... ill take some pics in the morning.

HondaTypeJ 04-10-2003 05:33 AM

Dude that sux. Good luck fixing it...

pauls-si 04-10-2003 06:25 AM

Daaaaamnn......That sux. You should try to get some parts at the junkyard. It would be a whole lot cheaper than the dealer.

Addict 04-10-2003 06:41 AM

Good luck. I bent my control arm doing that in my old car and bent something else as well. It never lined up straight again.

What were you doing that for?

Racing Rice 04-10-2003 06:54 AM

Nice move! :D That really does suck though.

Jufranpnoy 04-10-2003 07:47 AM

reliving my accident

ugh sorry about your accident dude. that happened to me this past october. it totally sucked. i loved that accord. the honda dealer said it would cost around 5 Gs to fix everything. i will try to find the list they gave me of what was wrong and post it. but the insurance company said the car was "totaled." so i got about 3100 for it. now i am just waiting for my appeals case because Mass wants to raise my steps.

ebpda9 04-10-2003 09:12 AM

it looke to me that the crossbone is bent too. that should be around $400. www.evanshondaspecialist.com might be able to help you with that for some low prices.

i am bored at work so i checked out that link. on the "Parts" page...4th row...middle column...on the hood of the car that looks like some took a bat all around the car, there is a skunk. i am so bored, i found that hilarious...so sad

Duckydos 04-10-2003 10:40 AM

Cool spazzy! Thanks for posting this... I love it when everyone finds out about my mistakes.
Yea, it was a really good night, coming back from my f'ing birthday party, and got a little bit stupid and did this. I hope that I can fix it on my own (we were going to take it to a shop at first). After I get it back together, I am going to take it up to a friend's body shop and have them check the chassis and frame to make sure it's not bent. If it is, the car is going to be sold :\
In other news, I am finacially ****ed! ;(

ShEaNy 04-10-2003 10:41 AM

ouch...good luck fixing that man..

That really sucks. I saw a beemer trying to showoff in traffic the other day. He was turning left from a stoplight and gunned it to whip it around. Instead he ended up smacking the curb and messing up his wheel.

Good luck.

Duckydos 04-10-2003 11:28 AM

Yea... hearing from you guys doing the similar things (or seeing people do it) I don't feel like that big of a dumbass... it was still pretty ****ing stupid.
BTW:
