Headers - GReddy or DC?

Anyone have any insight on what Company is better in the header department? Im trying to get some 4-2-1 headers w/ a high flow cat to go with my tanabe and need some recommendations. Thanks!!

I'm assuming you've got an H22 since Greddy only makes a header for the VTEC model. I would highly recommend the GReddy over the DC. I've got a DC, but that's because I don't have a choice, GReddy doesn't make a header for the H23. It's a far better made piece and gives better gains. Worth the extra money.

well shit, i got an H23 as well. I didn't know greddy didn't make it for the h23. See, on their web site, they say prelude SI 2.2l. Yea, si is 2.3, H22 is 2.2, so what the hell?

Well, is greddy better than DC...are you happy with your DC? What kind did u get (4-2-1, 4-1?)..what kind of gains? Any info would be a GREAT help!!

thanks man!

DC is still a great brand. I wouldn't be worried about going with them since Greddy doesn't make a header for your engine.

The DC is OK, it's the best option for us H23 guys though IMO. No one makes a 4-1 header for any Prelude, they're all 4-2-1. As for gains...pretty good gains, I got a tenth or two, a friend of mine got about 3 tenths just from the header.

yeah the 4-2-1 header is better made for the lude so companies just dont make a 4-1 header for it. I would prefer Greddy over DC but DC is still a pretty good brand

No, that's not the reason, it's because it would be a PITA to install, almost impossible. You can't put it in from the top, and can't really do it from the bottom. Civics and Integras can easily fit them in from the bottom.

and preludes dont have the clearence like civics and integras do. my 4-2-1 already has clearence problems with the ground... more pipes under there would be horrible

OT: What does PITA mean ???
