what the hell is this ?

it shows only when i close outlook express and at random times. do u think it's a ram issue ?

Could be errors in the RAM. Those are memory addresses that are being pointed to.

Download a program called memtest86. You install it on a floppy and boot from it to test your memory.

i have no floppy, and i get the error only with outlook express, no other programs. that is weird

Did you try updating it through Windows Update? I dunno, maybe reinstall it or something then.

Its the messaging program for Outlook Express & MSN.

Try updating Outlook Express or removing it and reinstalling it.

It's probably because Outlook Express is a poorly written piece of MS software. That said, my guess is that your RAM is just fine and that OE is trying to reference memory that is locked by another program. My guess is that you are running NT/2000/XP to be getting that error.

It's not a bad idea to verify your memory anyways, but I strongly believe it's just a MS problem....

yup is win2k.

so what did you do, just reformat? My first impression is that you have some memory going bad, but if a reload fixed it then dont worry about it.

memtest makes a bootable cd also... but i would check you memory.
