5th geners... does your glovebox light stay on???

Hey guys, I've heard this was a common problem w/ 5th gens, and my glove box light stays on due to the glove box not closing perfectly. It annoys me at night b/c I can see it out of the corner of my eyes.

Anyone have a quick fix for this?

Bang up the plastic for it to close properly?! I dunno..

But really, your's doest close properly? If it's really a problem, then just remove the bulb..

mine doesn't, but i spose if there weer a little push switch like the doors, just add a piece of foam or folded over tape or something to it to give it more depth, that ought tol do it, you follow?

I'll look at it more closely, but I remember when there was a huge post on superhonda or ph (don't remember) where lots of people had this problem.

Maybe I should lay off the crack :o

Just remove the bulb, or find the switch then on the glove box put a bit of tape with some paper underneath so it will press the switch and the light will go off.

BTW i put u as my refferal.

Thanks, glad you came over to hondastyle. Yeah, I was kind of hoping to keep the functionality of the light when I open the box though. No biggie, I think I'll just extend the switch.
