Ok, I know, or think we've all heard of this russian duo going by Tatu. What do you guys think about these gals, all over each other, makin out on stage & for their publicity pics?

I'm probly gonna end up getting blasted on this one b/c I DEFINITELY have an opinion on this, but I'd like to know what everyone else thinks too. :yes:

I don't really care either way. They like to make out on stage and stuff, so if you don't like them, don't go see them. I don't think they are that hot though :no:

Marketing gimmick

well, I think it's disgusting. I had an X that had a lesbian sister and his whole family was in a state of denial that is yet undiscovered in the psychological world. It was unbelievable.:no: :pukey

They're hot as hell. This is all I know. They rule. I haven't listened to their music, and I don't plan to. There was an awesome article/interview with them where they talked about how they made out all day long. ;)

Well what about Christina Aguilera's Dirrty music video. Or ass shaking in rap/hip hop music video. Or many other things done by other artists. I saw their video a few times. I don't really mind their hit single. The music video isn't that particullarly great. The girls aren't all that hot either. But hey, two chics making out, I mean common, it will obviously catch attention. See, it even worked on you. You're talking about them right now and promoting their song (since people who didn't see it will now want to check it out)

If these girls have boyfriends that they are really into then I think that they are making out with one another for attention. I have friends that do weird things like that. They know that they get a rise out of people by doing it. I don't really care though. I don't care about MTV and the majority of the new music that comes out these days. I have heard one song by them and I personally think that is quite annoying.

Nothing special about them.. I think they're kinda ugly..

I've heard that their music video was really hot.. and when i finally saw it, i couldn't care less.. and changed the channel. Yea, marketing gimmick- lesibans, kissing, girls.. etc etc.. pretty weak because their music sucks and they're ugly.

Hell If I lived in russia's economy and all I had to do was make crappy music and make out with a buddy.... I'd do it.


Oh and they suck and it's morally reprehensible that they're played before 10... cher couldn't show her old ass on a cannon but these underage chicks can tongue kiss on TRL.... RIGHHHHHT.

It's basic economics. It boils down like this:

Underage girls making out + trashy Europop music = huge profit

Seriously...it's the only way they could get anyone flipping channels to stop long enough to listen to their shit music. Face it...we live in a country fascinated with lipstick lesbians so it sells. Couple that with the fact that they aren't yet 18 and boom...big money. Call me crazy, but I hate just seeing two chicks make out. If one's goin down on the other, that's different but so long as they're just kissing I'm turning the channel. If I want a tease I'll hit a strip club.

I love the music and the videos. The song 30 Minutes is by far the most powerful song i've listened to in quite a while. I've purchased several of their cds for all the different versions of the songs.

Btw if you haven't noticed I am quite a foreign music fan so my opinions are kinda tainted by my experience. I personally cannot stand music in english even if its Tatu or whoever. I do not want to be trying to understand the words when I am trying to focus on the musical qualities of the voices and instruments.

Commercial music (like cds, etc) is a completely different experience for me than anyone else I know. Noone understands my point of view or my reasoning. I have come to accept that.

I listen to cds for months at a time. I'll focus on a single song sometimes for several hours a day. My record so far is 11 hours of Alizée's Abracadabra in a little over 18 hours. (listen, sleep, listen). (avatar = Alizée ;))

I never thought i'd be this into commercial music as just this time last year i hadn't bought any cds i listened to more than a day or two.

yeah for real. i really like their music. maybe it has to do with the fact i lived in europe for almost 18 years. definitely that influenced my taste in music. and when i came here i really had no songs to listen to. Not that i have any us bands to listen to now. personally i can't stand rap/hip-hop/r&b anmd the market is over saturated right now with that. plust the others like britney, n'stink, bsb, cristina they sound to me like somebody is ripping their balls out. just my 2 cents

Different strokes for different folks. We all like different stuff. I just think it's really shitty if the reason that they are making out with one another is for more publicity. Sex sells and everything but I just don't think that they are respecting themselves if that is in fact the reason that they are doing it. If they enjoy making out with one another, they hey...do whatever you want but don't do it for the wrong reasons. And that is kind of hard to figure out when they say they're not muffdivers.

I haven't read any post except for the first one and I think their losers for doing it.
