actuator and alarm install
 

hi, i have a 97 civic dx. i've done the how-to on the fuel cut off... excelent info!
I would like to add power door locks and and alarm. what do you think of the 2-door generic actuator kits on ebay? what's the difference between 5 wire and 2 wire actuators? how hard will this be to install?
all i need is a basic alarm / keyless entry combo. any recomendations under $150?

I've seen a decent alarm system in the JCW catalog for 60 dollars. Its in the JC whitney general auto catalog, not the sport compact one.

as for installing power locks, ive never done it, but I hear its not too bad.

the diff between a 5 wire and 2 wire is on the 5 wire if u push up n down on the lock it'll lock or unlock the other actuator, 2 wire it only works by remote.... they aren't that difficuilt to install
