wow, thats a pant creamer if I ever saw one

Duckydos 03-30-2003 12:45 AM

I'm sorry... but you will never see that living in Japan really.
1) 99% of the cars are mega slow, and won't let you go above 100kph (read:60mph)...
2) the cops there don't get to carry guns, maybe a bataan and a whistle...
3) you don't get to drive a Skyline... you get a bicycle...
It'd be like saying that you want to be a Texas Trooper for this:

sorry, just a reality check from Ducky...

actually, there are...

it's just that it's very limited, you rarely see them.

Oh... I lived in Japan for 4 years... I never saw one, ever. In fact, the only police vehicle I saw was a van.. But I am sure that you would know better then me member...
And by "really" I didn't mean to say that isn't true... but like, there' is probaly only one GTR police car for all of Japan, so seeing it would be like, next to nill.

member 03-30-2003 01:33 AM

4 years where? i was born in nihon and lived there for around 8 years. then i moved to the states.

Duckydos 03-30-2003 01:35 AM

OPAKRACING 03-30-2003 10:36 PM

i bet if you lived in Tokyo, you'd see a hellava lot more of those.

member 03-30-2003 11:10 PM

those cars are rare, even in tokyo.

most of the "police work" are taken care of by camera's.

that would help wouldn't it....so even for police its illegal to have a gun?

Duckydos 03-30-2003 11:51 PM

Not necessarily. Cops could be issued guns, but mostly they get whistles or bataans... As a whole, the Japanese people are a very civilized society (if you look past the panty and scat fetishes...)

member 03-31-2003 07:25 PM

they're violent, but not in a bad way. they hit a lot...smacking someone's head or hitting them with plastic bats, air bats, ect. is completely normal. ahahahaha.

but they're not social in public. you rarely see them saying "hi" to someone walking down the street. they mind their own business, so they're very quiet in public.

as for guns, they rarely need them.

the truth is, compared to the states, there's a lot more mature teens in japan then there in in the states. a good example are fireworks. illegal in the states, but legal in japan. why? most teens don't goof around with them like idiots. another example is alcohol and cigarettes. you can buy them from vending machines. why? because most teens know better than to smoke or get drunk.

those weren't really "mature" or "immature" examples, but you get the point. :bandit:
