Techno....

some people think its its stupid because it takes no talent to make...

yet i argue that it does take talent.

you need to have rythem to match beats, and know what sounds to put in....can anyone ilaberate? or anyone agree?

techno rocks

I agree. A lot of techno really doesn't have set lyrics as opposed to a lot of other styles of music. So just the sound and beat of it really has to compensate for where it lacks lyrically. I think it takes definite talent.

Of course it takes talent...w/o that its crap

I play a lot of music generator and it takes forever to get a good beat...or what you "think" is good. Ive had lots where I come back the next day and scrap the whole thing because I had gotten way off track.

I'm all about techno stuff...granted I dont buy any CD's but I have major respect for the DJs

i think it takes skill, its just not my type of music, puts me to sleep

It takes a lot of talent - ever see a live performance (aka a Rave?). THose DJ's are so good, every beat they mix together is perfect - they know how to manipulate the crowd with their music - House, Trance, Jungle and D&B take a lot of talent to spin.
