So much for the swaybar..
1 Attachment(s)
Well,
I was checking everything over because something wasnt feeling quite right and Look what I found.. I took it off and drove it around the block.. What a difference a rear swaybar makes! To bad Honda subframes arent strong enough to hold. |
what the hell happened there Jeremy??
looks like it ripped right out of there.. and i have a sway bar :)
Damn man! Needs some JB Weld. That'll fix it.
or duct tape...btw: have you noticed the price of duct tape has went up? i find that hilarious!
holly crap. what bar and how low the car is. i think st is the only sway bar that can take drops up to 2"
I have pro-kits. So they are less then a 1.5 inch drop. The bar was a Skunk2 21mm rear swaybar. The kit came with a backing plate to dispurse some of the pressure from the mounting hole. I figure that would help a lot, but no luck. It actually ripped above the backing plate.
Honda's (especially civics, and integras) subframes are just to weak for a swaybar that thick. Oh well! They car rides a little smoother then it did with the swaybar on. At 60 mph the handling really isnt all that different until you start to hit those 90 degree turns. Guess Im just going to have to throttle back a little from now on. ;) Screw cars! Im sticking to motorcycles from now on. They are a lot more fun anyhow. :D |
