WRX Motor in my Accord...

Well, not really. But I have found when I disconnect one of my spark plug wires from the distrubutor, my car sounds EXACTLY like a mean WRX. It's pretty funny. When I pull up to the light and give it a rev, everyone wants to race me, like Mustang GT's and shiet. If my Accord wasn't slow enough, I am only running on 3 cylinders, so I just laugh at them. Anyways, just thought that I would share. Does yours do the same thing?

There's no long term damage, right? Besides maybe scarring up a spark plug?

never tried that before... dont think i will..mine sounds good with the muffler.

I don't think it's a good idea to do that 4 a prolonged period of time(can't remember where I heard) but I could be full of doo doo

I drove home from the local arcade, about 10 miles, but that is it.... I would want to wire something up so that I could just flick a switch, it would kill the power to that cylinder... but I am not sure how it would be done. It would have to be a pretty heavy duty switch.

i'd see no point, its like getting a muffler without the catback, but worse. you strain your engine and lose hp just so it sounds like a wrx? :pukey

well at least this all is interesting, I'd be afraid I'd hurt my poor little 4cyl

Thats pretty pointless I think to even want to do that. why would anyone want to run on 3 cylinders??? when you take a plug wire off of a 5.0(my bros car) it is not only now running on 7 cylinders(yes for all of you import people 7 cylinders)but it sounds and runs like freakin sheot!!!! put that sucker back on man. Run it the way it wants to be run and the way it was made to be run! thats lame. sorry about the 5.0 ordeal but I am not rice, don't eat rice, wont make my car rice, and I enjoy making fun of cars on www.anti-rice.com besides 5.0 power is the almighty power:cool: too bad I have an import with no juice to even bother racing anything! lol

Sorry dude but I would say that a 7.0 V12 is more of an almighty power than a mere 5.0 V8 (I assume you mean a V8 stang or something similar)......but that's just my opinion. :)

As far as running on 3.....are you running on all cylinders??? First crashing your car into sand dunes, then pulling wires.....you're

It's called having FUN with your car....
And I just took off the one spark plug for a short while. I run on ALL 4 (wooty w00t!) all the time. I checked the plugs yesterday (as well as changed the oil, waxxed it, and rotated the tires) and everything is A-O-K.
And buzzbomber88lx, as for your brothers Rustang... no one cares. I didn't say that there was a point to my antics, I just found it interesting.
