Dual Exhaust, 6th gen civic (96-00)

Does anybody make a bolt on dual exhaust for the 6th generation civic? I have seen fakes, and i have seen customs. Now I wanna see a bolt on, so i can say i did it! Anyways, doesnt have to be "true" (2 pipes from engine). But Functional YES, it must work, I WILL NOT BE A FAKER, lol. Well, If anyone knows about this please let me know! Thanks, Jason:mad: :confused:yes:

nobody i know makes a bolt on...

you can just get two mufflers, and get a good shop to mandrel bend some pipes after the cat to get it to work...

2 mufflers, 2 specialty b pipes, and a Y adapter for after the cat

but unless you use a small y adapter to slow down the flow youre gonna have like 0 back pressure...

Like Broccoli said go to a good shop and get this done (not midas)

YOu will actually lose power. due to pressure conflicts , no need for dual exhaust.

be alright if turbo or SC

any reason why you "need" dual exhaust? I mean you must have an exorbitant amount of air flowing through your FOUR cylinders to require that much exhaust flow. Next time you see a 13 sec or faster civic, count how many mufflers they have because I'm sure their setup would demand a much higher flow rate. Not flaming ya, just trying to help you out before you get flamed for having dual exhaust.

no one makes it because its THAT lame.. think about ALL the lame shit they make.. (led exhaust tips, altezzas, light up windshield washer nozzles) and now think to yourself WOW they are SO SO gay , NOW think WOW dual exhaust on a civic MUST even be gayer than those things, sinse they make those things but NOT bolt on dual exhaust.. there is NO CIVIC ANYWHERE THAT NEEDS DUAL EXHAUST... not even a 10 second one.. ITS A 4 CYL CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!

if you just want looks, its ok. i think it looks like crap but im not you.

anyway, noone makes a bolt-on system. it has to be custom done.
and as for the backpressure thing.....eh nm, that topic takes too much time.

this is my first post on this forum i am also a member of SHO (superhonda). i have seen a '00 Si with dual Thermal R&D's on it sounded pretty nice but it is really not needed. Your car im sure doesnt need to flow THAT much air. So i would just stick to a single muffler:yes:

no civic needs that much flow

nonovurbizniz 03-19-2003 10:29 PM

if it's just a second outlet pipe out of 1 muffler like in the 90-93 integra one's then it wouldn't have that much more flow....

My suggestion would be to look at one for an acura (greddy made them (dual tip out of 1 muffler (YOU DO NOT NEED 2 MUFFLERS IT WILL ADVERSLY EFFECT YOUR PERFORMANCE AND SOUND)) and see if you can make it fit....

did you just ask this question on h-t?
