humm litttle help

ok whats OBD1 .i know it has something 2 do with the ecu orsomethin and i know there are other type besides OBD1 can some one explain this to me thanx

emissions. 92-95 is OBDI.
96-98 is OBDII v.1
99-00 is OBDII v.2
