Anyone in the wisconsin illinois area selling a crx or knows of someone who is i am looking for a 89-91 si any help would be great

you should broaden your search
look for any 89-91 CRX instead of just the Si
you can swap in a b-series engine later
this might even cost less...
you'll definitely have more power than with the stock Si motor
even a ZC swapwould be nice...
b20 also... tons-o-torque...
