What should I ask?
I'm getting ready to sell some stuff on Ebay before I move and I was wondering what I should start off at for one thing inparticular. I've got an old Sega Genesis that I don't ever use and I figure somebody will want it. It's got the Sega CD (attached to the Genesis), 32X adapter, plus 23 games and all the original Sega cords/connecters and a few extra things. I was thinking of starting it at $150 and seeing where it goes. Is that too high or is it good?

$150 Seems like a max price Id pay for something like that. If you seriously want to get rid of it, just throw it out there and see what it goes for. Maybe set reserve for $150, and if it doesnt meet reserve.. You can either sell it or not. (I guess thats how it works, I dont really use e-bay.)

you're not gonna get 150 out of a sega...

I think you could get about $100 or so for it all. There's console "collectors" that love that stuff. |
Whoa, I have that same setup. Anyway, I'd start it at 99 and see if it goes anywhere. I just got done selling a round of stuff on Ebay for my parents... I warned them that they were asking too much and only 1 out of 5 of their items sold. Basically, if its worth more, people will bid on it.

I dunno, Old Sega stuff like that is hard to find now, but, it still isnt worth very much. I'd say keep it at 150$ of a max price. |
