Grrr... Drunk drivers
Hey guys! I haven't been here in about a month (having a broken hand, arm and collarbone makes typing kinda hard), so just thought I'd let out some frustration here...
So Jan. 31, me and my friend were driving home, about 2 in the AM. I'm on a two lane road, getting ready to make a left turn onto my street. well I'm stopped of course, waiting for the oncoming traffic to pass so I can turn... keep in mind my signal is working just fine and dandy... so the guy coming up behind me is going kinda fast, but now the oncoming traffic is gone so I'm in the process of turning. all of a sudden this guy attempts to pass me on the LEFT side and smashes right into my door. the cops come and i'm getting ready to take a ride in the ambulance (oh that's always fun :o) and it turns out the guy had been at the bar for a good 4 hours, and was just finishing off the sixpack he had with him in his car. and of course he wasn't hurt, he only had to be carried to the officer's car because he was so drunk he couldn't stand. my friend wasn't hurt either, and the only injuries I had, besides the above mentioned, were bumps and bruises. my car wasn't too damaged either, just some body work and repainting, and a new dash and stuff due to the airbag going off... i'm still pissed about it, but just glad everybody was okay... if i could get my hands on that guy though :mad:
