auto 2 manual???????help
 

I have a 99 4dr accord , I wanna change from auto tran to manual. bout how much how complicated and how long will this take?????? I got the 4cyl..

Man, I would just recommend buying a manual car in the first place. I think it would be a whole lot of trouble to change over, probably not worth it.

I would definitely look into getting an engine swap (H22A) instead. An auto --> manual can cost as much as $1500, and its not worth it IMHO.

I was married and my wife wanted an auto , i already have the car it's dropped , rims got sounds, couple other small mods, in it for the haul

a tranny would run you 300 at www.evanshondaspecialist.com plus all the other parts, but you will have to change the pedals, get a new master cylinder for the tranny change the front pass side radius rod, and relocate a tranny mount a bit.

plus a new ecu if u mind the check engine lights and D4 flashing in the dash

Then why not consider a full engine swap that will give you 200ish hp to start with and a manual?

i suppose i could just get a stage 2... i got bout 500.00 right now in about 2 weeks i'll have over 3,000 in extra cash... i don't know if i'm goin 2 drop it all in my car though. all i know is i need more speed - idon't want my car to look pimp and b slow!!!!

well i would do it. You sound like me you cant afford to swap but you want a 5spd. I would just wait it out and wait till the auto dies then swap out.
