car will not turn off
 

hey this is actually a question for my friend. he has a 93 hatchback with an ls motor in it. well the car starts fine but when he goes to turn it off the car keeps running. he can take the key all the way out of the ignition and it keeps running. does anybody know what can cause this problem???

Timing maybe......Does it run weird when he turns it of, kinda sputters and runs choppy?

nope the car just keeps running normally as if the key was still in the ignition. not choppy at all.

Sounds like a problem with the ignition switch or wiring to me, but Im not sure.

some switch is sticking open.

It's cuz his car just isn't done driving. It doesn't want to stop now that it's got such a strong heart. Just tell him to keep driving it until his car tells him it feels like resting.;) :yes:
