Will this ever end? I hate snow so much. In my area, we are supposed to get 24 inches of snow today.

that is so sweet.. i wish we got a dumping of snow... its just cold here...really cold

I could go snowboardin, but that takes so much time, plus snow is suck a pain to deal with - my car always gets stuck and i dont have ABS brakes, so driving in snow is not something i like doing.

ABS actually increases the distance and time it takes you to stop on snow....

and ya... getting stuck does suck

yeah, but i always forget to pump the brakes, plus, my tires are shot.

you dont pump, you "threshold break" and you can even do it with ABS equiped cars. It will stop you faster and keep you in better control of your car. I guess its something you just pick up when you live up here but ABS sucks and I wish I could turn mine off. Its put me in too many close calls, i dont like when the car thinks for itself... thats what I'm there for!

I would either like to get a SHITLOAD of snow or for it to warm up. This middle ground we're in up here isn't much fun. We got maybe an inch yesterday afternoon and it just turned to ice. And because of this crappy snow we've got I wasn't paying attention to the roads (because it wasn't alot of snow) and I ended up going sideways on an off ramp from the highway. Too top it off I didn't have my seatbelt on, everything is alright and I didn't hit anything. now that i think about it, it was really cool!

yeah we've got that. i had to grab a shovel to take my car out of the parking spot

Hehe, my car has only seen snow once or twice :D

we're not even allowed to be driving out in the roads right now. which totally sucks...i'm goin nuts!!!:crazy:

This really sux, the snow is still coming down real hard. Sounds like this stuff is old news to you guys.

if we get 2 inches or snow i dont have to go to work...hopefully it'll make it's way south....but it's been toooo warm here the last week

Cash, I'm with you in this crap too. There's FEET of snow. I could not get online. Before I took showers yesterday and today, I had to run the water for like 10 minutes because everything was so damn frozen. The commute sucked this morning.

That sux, did the pipes freeze in ur house? That happened in a friend of mine's house one winter, and all his stuff got ruined.I My car was impossible to move this morning, but you will have to read the post im gonna make in about 5 minutis -its got some real funney pictures in it - all the cars in my parking lot got burried in the snow yesterday.

Nah, it's not the actual pipes in my house...I don't know what it is. Maybe it's the stupid boondock town that I live in because my house is pretty new. The roads still aren't even plowed all that well. And I had to drive the Caddy with rear wheel drive because the radiator in the Type R Neon went on Fri.
