94 AFTMKT tail light fix!

Yeah, this post was from "Forums/Accord/The Accord Store"

I got my Tail lights Finally! heheh, now i just need to relay the sucka to the side markers so both red lamps light up at night.

got the idea from eviljayr (thanks bro!).

evil said he wanted to make BOTH circles light up on each tail at night since the stock signals only use "single filament" bulbs to light making it not light up. So thought that was a freggin great idea. i got eager to do it, so i did it :rambo:

so what i did was cut the bulb harness for the turn signal, and replaced it with a double filament bulb harness just like the brake lights use. bought it universal ofcourse, and it's pimp! check it!

So yeah, basicly, tapped the light to stay constant just like the brake lights, and connected the signal wire where the brake wire would supposedly go. there!

you are tight!! my brotha!!! I'm glad you did it though. It looks pimp!! Ideas for all who want to as long as they dont sell it. But i just stole it from the actual s-type jag. I started school fulltime and still working so i really dont know when i'll be able to do it.

and about them red led bulbs, do they even reflect off the chrome of the housing or is it just a circle of red dots?

cuz if i get those expensive bastards, i want the same reflection as standard bulbs with LED pulsing on/off style. if not, i'll keep standard bulbs for now and think of a way to get a good reflection going with leds.
when i have time.
Rakugaki will probably end up beating me to this too.
