Ok, i am on my way to my friends house, and its about 11:30. Its late, and cold out, so there are not too many cars on the road. This moron in a 94 prelude pulls up next to me. His car is completely stock, except for his Altezza :pukey tail lights. He rolls down his window and says, "Hey, wanna race for Pink slips??" I was so stunned by this stupid question - I replied, "Thats only for people who watch too many movies."

Come to find out, his car had an H22a in it, and he probably figured that i thought i was badass cause my car has an exhaust.

Why on earth would you ask somebody that? Man, i hope the next movie doesnt have any stupid lines like that in it (but we all know it will).

Any of you ever have stupid stuff like this happen to you?

Hmmm...too bad Canada doesn't have pink slips, but just has normal ownership forms that are no where close to pink. I guess here we could say.."I'll race you for green slips" :D

Once I had a dumbass in an old dodge stealth offer pink slips to race... I said no but would race for $5 to cover gas+whatever... so we raced and I won by maybe 1/2 car length to 100mph... well he was NOT turbo (obviously) because I won and I didnt hear a turbo or BOV or wastegate, so yeah... morons :rolleyes:

my slip is white. so I'd say yea lets race ;)

i was riding my bike and had a guy in an 87 hatchback civic ask me to race for slips. i stayed, well more like let him stay with me, with him till about 75 where he wasn't able to accelerate any more then pulled back on the throttle a little cuz i didn't want his car.

The expression comes straight out of the 50's. Back when pink slips were pink. Everything wasn't such a pain in the ass about cars back then.

Yes, a pink slip is proof of ownership of the car. I've had someone ask me that too when I had my GS-R. It was some riced out CRX, and he kept jumping at me, and I played with him, after I beat his ass a few times I started laughing everytime he jumped, he got pissed and asked if I'd run for slips, so I said sure. We caught a light, it turned green, and he was beat by at least 5 lengths. After the race, he took off. I just let him go because the car was a big piece of shit. I've seen him a few times at a local race spot and always laugh at him, he doesn't recognize me since the new car though.

Cash, we should do that to people at our meet at the BTP. We can be cool too.

Ok, the F&F does make people stupid. I've concluded that I do appreciate it though because it made Cash write a thread about some dumbass that we all made fun of. And got a good laugh out of the situation.

I guess my favorite part or should I say thing is how Brian Earl Spilner repeats himself alot. Ohhhh, I just thought of something. When Mia disses the big guy that thinks he's badass (Leon?) and he gets all mad and hits the microwave and then proceeds to yell at everyone to "make thier own damn popcorn".

My favorite part is when the engine in the eclipse blows, but the car is perfectly fine in the next scene when it "out runs" the cops.

1st shot of the eclipse running in the parking lot...they show him shifing 5 times but you hear 6 shifts...and when hes spinning the backup lights are on...man he really lost it there

You gotta love how the asian gang desides to destroy a car (the eclipse) with 50k + dollars invested in it (if the car was nobody's, why didnt the asian's just take it?). Even if i were rich, i would sell the car or do something besides destroy it.
