so can on one help or does anyone not want to help
|
Sorry but Im going to move this to the civic forum also.....get more attention there.....
|
on my accord one is liked to speed sensors in the tranny if i'm not mistaken.

all the power steering pressure switch does is raise idle when you turn a certain amount at idle, like in a parking lot. one end should go in the steering rack and the other end should make it's way to the ecu one way or another. unless it's giving you a check engine light or you're having trouble keeping your engine from stalling when you try to park, i'd say it's really not a big deal
|
calling out civic addict on this one. he has the same car, only black
|
its not really a big deal to me it should start warming up soon.
i talked to a honda dealership there serviice tech says it goes from the engine harness to the rack the car makes a horrible sound when i have no power steering |

Sorry for the fuzzy pic. Its like 13 degrees outside.
It should be a wire harness. I'll try to get you a clearer pic. It just has 2 wires coming out of it. I'll look to see where it goes in a bit if you want. |

Thanx Addict |
is it low on ps fluid? is the belt in good shape? the pressure switch shouldn't cause you to lose your power steering, it's just an input to the ecm to control idle speed
