headlights
Somewhere on the page, it says "SAE/DOT Approved" Is this really approved by the DOT or are they just saying that to make us buy it?

hehe you never know (~_^)......................
|
Honestly, don't trust Ebay sites that say DOT approved. Buy from a reputable dealer that will back their products up.
|
i wouldn't trust those projectors
|
Yea....doesnt look to legal........lol
|
ohhh i know, yeah it's dot/sae stamped, but that's not including the reflector mark, that you need to put on your car yourself too keep it legal!
confused?? if you look at a sae stamp, you'll see a combination of letters and numbers like "AIRSTP" maybe if you bought the lights already, compare the numbers on the stock one. if your'e missing a letter, that means you need to compensate for the missin letter. eggsample: stock=AIRSTP aftermark=AIRST , you will have to compensate for P. i don't really know what letters mean what. i think "I" in the combination means it meets reflector reqirement . :pfft: |

Uh...Say again? lol  sorry Im slow minded |
you want some real projectors? I have a pair of stock headlights that are retrofitted with piaa projectors, they are bad, very nice light out put, not as good as stock but definitally better than the ebay projectors. Not to mention, the projector it self has the red city lights mounted in them so when you turn on your parking lights or hook it up to a switch, it will glow a red, like an evil eye.
