VTec engagement chip...
 

i have a 92-95 civic ex with a 1.6 SOHC VTec (D16z6) i have found an ECU mod chip that kicks in vtec sooner higher rev limiter and new air/fuel maps. made by XS racing. this is very reliable i've heard but i've never talked to anyone that has put it in. i know i can install it soldering it in and all in my P28 ECU but i am wondering if anyone has one and knows the ease of installation or if they work at all like they say they do. thanks for any input.

i wouldn't raise the rev limiter....its there for a reason...

So true. If you haven't upgraded the engine fully, don't bother with a chip.
