ls cable tranny

hey i got a ? i have a 88 crx si with a jdm b16a 1st gen i need a new tranny so i decided to go with the cable ls tranny i know it has longer gears but i wanted some opinions on that tranny a response would be greatly appreciated.thanks.;)
