I have read a few articles about it in Popular Science. If you are looking for more info on the car, check there. This guy has been working on that design for years, and last I heard he was getting close to finishing it. Worth the read, I would check it out. It is pretty cool.

They have been working on it for quite some time. It's pretty sweet if you ask me.....but really, given the problems with driving on the streets these days I would never want to have Jetson style traffic. Imagine the same stupid lady doing her makeup, talking on her cell phone, feeding the kids in the back seat, and eating her Egg McMuffin all at the same time and also flying anything??? I won't fly with real commuter traffic unless they get some damn good AI that can take over for those idiots, then it's not nearly as much fun anyways. I'd rather go 200 MPH 1 inch off the ground than 200 ft off the ground, more exhillerating.....
