The 99-00si uses the b16 engine, so yes, the parts should fit...

ehh... im not sure if they have the same intake manifolds... better check part #'s for the intake manifold. i have a feeling they are different

There's no such thing as a JDM B16A1.

What are you talking about there is no such thing about the b16a1.They came in the 88-91 sir in japan they are cable trannies. The b16a1 is a jdm engine only.

i personally would not use a FI system that is engineered for a specific motor on another one, even if it is a b series. the cams and pistons will fit, but I would be weary of the sc, call jackson racing, they can answer it for you.

and where is the non jdm b16a1 nonsense coming from?

you looking to get rid of one?

It's just a B16A- no number. Numbers are put only on non-JDM motors.

well i'll be honest, i have never heard that before, if that is true i give you much respect.

how do they differentiate between gs-r (b18c1) and type r (b18c5)?

2ndGenTeg 01-23-2003 11:36 PM

B18C and B18C-R

FasterThanLight 01-24-2003 03:11 PM

cool. do they stamp that on the block, or is it only referred to that way?
