hoiw realistic is the thought of a swap.. can you REALLY afford it??

if not get a d16y8 head, bolt ons and a small shot, and it should be decently quick...

how much miles does ur motor have right now? if its up there..then a swap would probably suit you better, if not, why waste a perfectly good engine? an EX head swap that oc mentioned should be your first step..that is if you keep your current powerplant... don't forget that money is an issue also.

I have 130000 miles on it so I dont know and where could i find the new head

sohc_vtec 2NR 01-19-2003 08:27 PM

there's a lot of "head" to be found on ebay .. :pfft: i believe it is also called a "mini me" swap..

are you planning on goin' forced induction with your car? if you are then i'd save up for a new motor, since rebuilding an older motor would not be as "cost-effective" compared to an engine swap..

pdiggitydogg 01-19-2003 09:33 PM

definately egay has several heads as of now

calls97 01-19-2003 09:34 PM

ok I will look for the head and I know I would like to go forced induction so I will look

96civicex 01-20-2003 12:19 PM

pdiggitydogg 01-20-2003 12:23 PM
