h22 question

I know it is possible to drop an h22 into a civic.....but isnt the mounting and everything backwards with that perticular engine? or somethingn about it is bacwards....maybe...dont know much about it....anyone wanna fill me in?

its insanely difficult and expensive...plus the engine is quite heavy for the lightweight civic chassis...so unless you want to drag race...and thats about it...dont waste your time...if you have that kind of money get a b18c1 and start working on getting custom turbo...that should be around the same cost for getting the h22 bought and installed

h22 is a great engine, but not for the civics. and no it's not backwards comapred to the other honda engines till 2000

dropping an h22 into your civic would be a great drag setup, its got juicer torque than the other honda engines and its quite impervious to nitrous injection...mwahahahahahahaahah <<evil laugh..

if you've got the money then go right ahead, but don't forget to get some suspension to handle that heavier front end weight...

its fine to swap it into a civic.....but you NEED to do suspension work to make it handle nicely.

id rather go B16A turbo. or even D16Y5 turbo.

as i understand it becuz the engine is heavy it causes understeer
