Wrecked car...what to do?

As you know, I wrecked my 96 Civic sedan. I rear ended someone and pretty much f!@#*d up the whole front right bumper going all the way into the engine bay, messing up the hood and damaging the fender. It is not worth fixing, but I still think I could at least get 1500-2000 for it. Any ideas? I called Ecology auto parts and they offered me 250 dollars! I hung up on him when he threw that offer at me. I mean, the car IS fixable, someone just has to have the time and the money to do it. We are looking at about 3500. Other than that damage, the car is (IMO) in great condition. Always got my oil changes, had it recently serviced (the BIG service, after like 30,000 miles I think). I took care of it. What should I do? I was hoping on selling it for at least around 1500 and using that to pay for part of my car insurance on my new GS-R. Any ideas?

Man, whatever you do, don't give it up for too cheap. When my last car burned up, the rims, engine bay, and stuff was still fine. My parents were over giving me a hand with everything and I was offered like $500 or something ****ing stupid. They pressured me to accept that offer because they didn't want me to tow my burned car back to their driveway, so I ended up getting ass raped.

If you're mechanically inclined, you could part it out. Oh yeah, what kind of insurance coverage did you have? Just liability?

Ya. Just liability. My father opted for it because I got into an accident in sept 02' and he figured if I were to wreck it again that it would be a waste. Anyway, thank for the info.

dude don't sell the car for only 250. you can go on ebay and part the bodykit, the windows cause they are already tinted, your painted door panels
