Power wire through firewall?
 
i cant find a good place to run my 4 awg through my firewall in my 95 civic.....i found a grommet but once i poped it out there was something blocking it still....prolly an airduct.....never installed in a newer honda b4 and i'm either blind or this is gonna be harder than usual.....anyone know where in the hell i can run the wire through

there should be a hole on the drivers side .... you can allways just drill a little hole

If you do end up having to drill another hole, make sure to use a gromet to protect the wires.

I've heard of people running 0 guage under the chassis itself. I personally don't think its a good idea, but whatever. you could try it, but would have to protect it REALLY well, but that seems like to much effort for a simple problem, never mind.

i found a spot..it was the place that i thought a duct was blocking....it was 3am when i tried the 1st time.....then i ran a clothes hanger through to see if it came all the way in and it did so all is good

I don't know about the '95 Civic but in my 93 Accord there was a great spot on the passenger side. Pull back the carpet up under the footwell near the center console. There you'll find the diagnostic computer. Just above the cptr is a quater sized hole with a grommet, perfect for 4awg power wire.

theres a hole by the battery on my 95. a little under it. I fit my 0 gauge without much trouble
